Family Spirit Synopsis:
Family Spirit presents the concept that the dead can see and hear the living but not vice versa – unless specifically gifted. The play opens with the death of Arthur Scrimmins. He leaves behind a loving and attentive adopted daughter, a seemingly uncaring daughter and son-in-law and a few secrets. We then see his journey to the afterlife orchestrated by a newly qualified angel fumbling his way through his debut assignment. It is a tale of the respective dimensions of life and after-life and the attempts of the characters to communicate across the spiritual divide. However, a chance meeting with a medium could change all that.
